Extension Science and Development

This course focuses on fundamental knowledge, skill, and values in extension science of transferring knowledge from scientific research to practical applications for the purpose of improving and promoting development. The students learned the range of activities, including training programs, workshops, and other forms of outreach, to help them understand how the people in the community understand and adopt new technologies and practices. These activities help to close the gap between research and practice and to ensure that new discoveries and innovations are translated into real-world benefits for sustainable development.
