       This course was designed to propel a reflective attitude in exploring various the issues and concerns regarding the self and identity to arrive a better understanding of one’s self.

         The lessons in the modules covered the different representations and conceptualizations of the self from various disciplinal perspectives. Various influences, factors, and forces that shape the self were examined through a comprehensive discussion of the self as a holistic being

         Through different approaches learners were able to demonstrate critical and reflective thought in analysing the development of one’s self and identity by developing a theory of the self.
